It is Tuesday morning. The students are in Mr. Parker's classroom. Mr. Parker is their teacher. He is friendly and organized. "Good morning, class!" says Mr. Parker. "Today we organize our desks. Please take out your school supplies." Peter opens his bag. "This is my pen," he says. "It is blue. Blue is my favorite color." Amy looks in her bag. "Oh no! Where is my pencil?" she asks. "My red pencil is not here!" "Is this your pencil?" asks Mishiko. She holds a red pencil. "Yes! That is my pencil! Thank you, Mishiko!" says Amy. Alejandro takes out his notebook. "Look at my notebook," he says. "It is green. It is from Argentina." Mr. Parker smiles. "Your notebooks are very nice. Now, let me show you my supplies. This is my eraser. That is my ruler. And these are my books." Mishiko takes out her pencil case. "This is my pencil case," she says quietly. "It is from Japan." "It is beautiful!" says Amy. Peter looks at his desk. "My desk is brown. Our classroom is very colorful!" "Yes," says Mr. Parker. "Our classroom is nice. Your supplies are ready. Now we can start our lesson!"

Possessive adjectives always come before a noun.
They never change form (no plural endings).
"His" is for males, "her" for females, "its" for objects or animals.
